Part 1 - Pre course training: This is a home learning program via our online locksmith training portal and gets you the student ready for your hands on courses. This takes around 2 weeks or less to complete.
Part 2 Hands on Training: This is where you attend a 5 or 7 day hands on training program, focusing on the main skills we do daily as locksmiths, its all hands on from making your own mortice picks and tension tools to making mortice decoding charts, wires and gauges through to toe and heeling UPVC doors an windows, gaining entry to failed UPVC doors and dealing with multi point mechanism, master the skills of lock picking cylinder locks from basic locks to high security 3 star rated locks and so much more!
Part 3 - Home Training Deep Study and Practice: Once you have undertaken your hands on course you will return home. But to prevent skill fade and stop you forgetting how to do everything you will enrol on our level 4 mobile locksmith training program which s a in-depth online course with many assignments that you must complete to earn each award. You simply log into our training portal and using our home training kit which includes a camera and tripod you record your session. So if the assignment was to strip down your UPVC door, service and refit the multi point you would do this whole thing on camera and explain what you are doing, how the tools work, why you are doing it etc. This is then used as evidence towards your awards. After 15 weeks you will have a full level 3 locksmith award and with a level 3 award you are skilled enough to charge for your service.. However this program take you to a level 4 award and path to master locksmith award.
Once you have provided all assignments we can then issue all of your awards along with covering letter from your training provider and the Guild of Master Locksmiths along with your Guild membership and ID badge.

One to one online tuition - Its important to be trained by someone with a successful locksmith company that can prove it with books but not just how much money they are brining in but how much they are paying out! Many locksmiths rely on 3rd party services to bring them customers. In our business course we teach you all of the skills required so you never pay anyone else to do your marketing.
Further Courses - In our business section you will undertake many additional small courses from how to operate a business to consumer law training, health safety through to the Safe Contractor Approval UK scheme.. This extra courses will give you a better insight into the trade, keep you and your customers safe and allow you to operate a successful Locksmith business in the UK.
A Website for your Business - One of the most expensive and most overlooked costs is a quality website and I dont just mean a basic website with some pretty photos but an actual tool that ranks on the first page of Google and brings in new business. Many people can build a website but it takes a skilled SEO writer to make sure that website ranks on Google's first page. We create a full 6 page custom website and have our SEO writer fully script the whole website, images, videos and more with GPS targeted business areas and much more. Most SEO writers charge around £75 per hour with as many as 150 hours needed to fully create and launch the website and carry out all the SEO on all of your social sites, Google business page and more! Bespoke Logo Design - You will sit down with on of our designers and together you will look at colours, styles, graphics and fonts and then our designer will craft you a custom bespoke logo that will work for you and your new locksmith business.
A full Legal Downloads Section - In this business training program you will requires such legal packages as terms and conditions for your website, terms of service, terms of pricing policy, data protection policies and much more. We take care of all of that and have all of the other legal documents for you to download or access from dealing with none paying clients to CCJ's through to payment terms and much more!
This business section is vast and includes training on marketing SEO and our own personal strategies that work for us and make our sole traders around £90.000 a year gross with around £75.000 take home pay. Our students yield is so high as they keep everything in house. You are not paying £3k a month to SEO experts to keep your business running or £1500 a week to pay per click adds. This is because we train you in how to do this yourself no matter what background you are from.
